As an international lawyer and Israeli diplomat, British-born Daniel Taub today resides in Israel and works as the Director of Strategy and Planning for the Yad Hanadiv Foundation. This organization seeks to transform Israeli society into a vibrant and democratic environment in which equal opportunity and Jewish values benefit all its inhabitants, in line with the Rothschild family’s values for which it was developed.
Taub is also a recognized media writer having been published in the UK’s The Times, The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph as well as the US’s Huffington Post. He also wrote a book of insights on the weekly Biblical portion, entitled Parasha Diplomatit, which comprises his analyses on each section of the Bible, imbued with his humor and political angle. He was the chief scriptwriter and founder of HeChatzer, a popular Israeli drama series set in an ultra-orthodox Hasidic sect. Taub’s intention when starting this project was to break down stereotypes that have been created which ultimately divide religious and secular in society.
