Daniel Taub is British-born and Oxford and Harvard-educated. He moved to Israel at the age of 21. Born in 1962 in the UK, Taub graduated from Oxford with a BA in Literature, received a Certification for Lawyers in Law from the Chancery Lane School of Law, a Masters (MLM) in Law from London’s University College and an MBA in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
When he made Israel his home, Taub first became a combat medic and thereafter a reserve officer in the international law division of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Since then he has worked at the Israeli Foreign Ministry and been an Israeli Ambassador to the UK.
Today, Taub is Yad Hanadiv Foundation’s Director of Strategy and Planning. This organization seeks to establish resources in order to advance Israel as a healthy, vibrant and democratic society.
